The Crossbow is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and with the right set of attachments, it can one-shot enemies as long as the bolt hits the target. It doesn't matter if the bolt hits the head or the legs, unlike many one-shot Sniper Rifles in the game, the Crossbow will get a one-shot kill when it strikes anywhere in the body.

However, the weapon isn't the best on its own. It requires a few tweaks, which can be done through attachments. In this brief guide, we'll look closer at the best one-shot Crossbow loadout in Warzone.

Building the best one-shot Crossbow loadout in Warzone

Use the following attachments to build the best one-shot Crossbow loadout in Warzone:

Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
Bolts: Blastcap 20" Bolts
Laser: Kimura RYL33 Light
Wire: 28-Strand Cable
Optic: SP-X 80 6.6X

Apart from these attachments, it is also recommended to use the Sleight of Hand Perk for faster bolt rechambering, allowing you to shoot them in quick succession.

Here's how these attachments affect the Crossbow and help it get those one-shot kills:

The DR-6 Handstop greatly improves the aim down sight and aim walking speed. Furthermore, it improves the sprint-to-fire speed and the overall movement speed of the character. This is essential as the Crossbow can severely limit your mobility.

The Blastcap 20" Bolts have an explosive tip, which deals explosive damage to your targets and is one of the crucial elements of this loadout to get the one-shot ability.

The Kimura RYL33 Light also boosts the aim down sight speed and sprint-to-fire speed. Furthermore, it improves the aim walking steadiness, which makes the bow more accurate while moving.

The 28-Strand Cable improves bolt velocity. This is important for the Crossbow as the bolts can be quite slow. Without this attachment, you will have to lead your shots by a lot to even hit a moving target at close to medium ranges.

The SP-X 80 6.6X Optic provides an ideal zoom of 6.6x, which is more than enough to see targets clearly at the weapon's effective range, which is usually around 40 m at most. However, you can use any Optic depending on your playstyle.

Please note that this build is designed to achieve one-shot kills while being aggressive. Hence, if it does not align with your playstyle, you can tweak the attachments to your liking. However, it's highly recommended to keep the Blastcap 20" Bolts as they ensure the one-shot kills.
