A recent bug in Black Ops 6 was reported on Reddit, where a player unexpectedly turned into a missile during gameplay. They shared gameplay footage of the glitch. Recently, players have also reported an issue where the Optic attachment was removed when accessing Gunsmith, which the developers have acknowledged and are actively investigating.

If the missile glitch becomes more widespread, the developers will likely address it promptly, as they are committed to considering players' feedback.

This article delves into the details of this unusual bug that transforms players into missiles when using a specific Scorestreak in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer.

A new bug in Black Ops 6 transforms players into a missile

Reddit user shaxxsdad posted gameplay footage showing a bug in which they turned into a missile and even killed an enemy. The glitch occurred while using the Archangel Launcher Scorestreak.

For context, the Archangel Launcher is a Scorestreak that requires a 650 score to activate. Once active, it provides two rockets whose trajectory can be remotely controlled by players.

During the gameplay on the reintroduced Nuketown map, the user activated the Archangel Launcher, fired the first rocket, and successfully eliminated two enemies. However, when attempting to fire the second rocket, the ADS view appeared, but the rocket failed to launch. The player’s weapon C9 SMG was automatically re-equipped and the Scorestreak ended despite the second rocket being unfired.

The player then activated the Scout Pulse Scorestreak and continued to engage enemies with the SMG. When aiming down sights with the C9, the player was eliminated but transformed into the Archangel rocket, taking down the enemy who had killed them.

The post has gained attention from various users, but based on the comments, only a few have encountered this glitch. Two or three commenters mentioned experiencing the same issue, with one stating that the glitch specifically occurred when trying to launch the second rocket while in a prone position.

Although this glitch is uncommon, if it persists, it could still impact gameplay quality. The developers may include a general fix for these types of bugs as a patch is expected soon to address the Gunsmith issues.
