Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 are live, offering players exciting Battle Pass rewards. However, this season is different as Activision seems to be offering fewer rewards than usual. They usually provide 1400 Call of Duty Points through Battle Pass that players use to purchase the next Pass or in-game cosmetics for free of cost. But in Season 1 BP they are offering 300 less CP, which affects many players.

This article highlights why Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 BP are less rewarding.

Why is Activision rewarding less CP in Battle Pass of Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1?

Since there is no official statement regarding this change, we can assume this is a marketing strategy by Activision. With fewer Call of Duty Points, players may now invest in purchasing CP to get the latest Tracer Packs and in-game cosmetics. This will eventually generate revenue for the company. The Call of Duty Battle Pass costs 1,100 CP, but it previously returned 1400 CP by completing the pages.

Due to the changes implemented in Black Ops 6 and Warzone after the Season 1 update, players will now receive 300 less CP, which they could accumulate to purchase free skins at the end of the year. However, they can still claim the next BP for free by spending 1100 CP earned from this Season's Pass. In this title, 200 CoD Points cost around $1.99 / £1.79. Now, each Tracer Pack price varies between 2400 and 3000 CP. Hence, they will need to spend a high amount to get in-game cosmetics.

With the arrival of Season 1, the devs have already launched 11 Tracer Packs each costing around 3,000 CP. This clearly indicates a greater emphasis on launching bundles and in-game cosmetics.

Each month, new bundles are released that encourage players to buy by paying high prices. However, it is still disappointing for players who depend solely on the Battle Pass to accumulate CP and purchase in-game cosmetics.
