It looks like more perks are returning this year in Black Ops 6 Zombies apart from the ones confirmed by developer Treyarch Studios so far. Several new rumors suggest that two new Perk-a-Colas might return in Black Ops 6 Zombies at launch. These perks are Mule Kick and Dying Wish, last seen in Zombies modes of Call of Duty games like Black Ops 4 and Black Ops Cold War.
With that being said, this article explores details of the two new rumored perks, Mule Kick and Dying Wish, in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
NOTE: Players are advised to take early rumors and speculations with a grain of salt until there's official confirmation from the developers.
Mule Kick and Dying Wish rumored for Black Ops 6 Zombies
Reliable CoD insider account @MargwaNetwork recently shared a post, mentioning that Mule Kick perk may return in Black Ops 6 Zombies, possibly on the Terminus Island map. Their rumor was based on a recent video by Call of Duty YouTuber @CodeNamePizza who claimed, based on their interaction with the developers, that Mule Kick may return this year.
Mule Kick was originally seen in Black Ops 1 and later appeared in Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3, Black Ops 4, and most recently, Black Ops Cold War.
When equipped, the Mule Kick perk allows players to carry three weapons at once instead of two. In Cold War, there was even an option to increase its effects with the use of Aetherium Crystals.
Meanwhile, @MargwaNetwork also shared another rumor, suggesting that the Dying Wish perk may return in CoD 2024 Black Ops 6 Zombies. This time, however, it may appear as an augment for the Juggernog perk.
The Dying Wish perk was featured in Black Ops 4 and could be unlocked by default. It was obtained by the use of Secret Sauce. When purchased, Dying Wish prevents players from falling into Last Stand. Instead, they enter the Berserk mode in which the screen turns red and the players avoid taking damage for nine seconds.
For now, fans should take both the rumors regarding Mule Kick and Dying Wish perks in Black Ops 6 Zombies with a grain of salt until there is an official update ahead of launch.
Black Ops 6 Zombies gameplay reveal coming soon
Activision will reveal the official gameplay from Black Ops 6 Zombies later this month during the Call of Duty Next event on August 28, 2024. During the event, Treyarch will showcase various content creators playing live on the Liberty Falls map.
Liberty Falls is one of two round-based maps in Black Ops 6 Zombies. It's also rumored to be available as a pre-order bonus during an early access period for Zombies mode, weeks before launch. However, this detail is yet to be confirmed by Activision and should be taken with a grain of salt.
