BobbyPoff recently revealed on his Twitch stream that he is considering suing Activision for a false permanent ban in Call of Duty. For context, BobbyPoff, a renowned Call of Duty content creator, had his original Warzone account permanently banned on October 4, 2024, despite there being no alleged wrongdoing on his part.

Frustrated by the ban, BobbyPoff claimed he later learned that Activision had mistakenly banned his account and eventually unbanned it, leading him to request the company for a public apology that has yet to come. Now, the streamer is contemplating legal action as a response.

This article will further explore his comments and the reasons behind his intent to sue Activision.

BobbyPoff may sue Activision for not apologizing for the false permanent ban of his main Call of Duty account

BobbyPoff stated that he has been in constant communication with litigators, lawyers, and attorneys regarding his permanent ban, which was later lifted due to false allegations. Although the ban was lifted, he feels it left a scar and damaged his reputation.

Bobbypoff requested an apology from Activision, and on not receiving one, he is now considering legal action. During his stream, he emphasized that he wanted an apology, saying:

"I've been talking to litigators, lawyers, attorneys...at this point I just want a ******* apology".

He also claimed that the time it took for Activision to recognize the error further damaged his reputation, as many fans began to doubt him as a creator during that time, stating:

"Public apology would go a long way. Imagine having your name drug through the mud for 2 weeks for something you never did and being offered 0 (zero) explanation. Oh wait that was ME the past 2 weeks."
