Call of Duty recently gave away 6,000 Black Ops 6 early access beta codes for free. The early access beta kicks off on August 30 and goes on until September 4, 2024. However, this stage of the beta is not free-to-play. Those looking to experience Black Ops 6 during the early access event must pre-order the game from Steam, Microsoft Store, or PlayStation Store.
That said, players all over the world were given a chance to experience it all for free. Call of Duty recently announced that 6,000 Black Ops 6 early access beta codes would be given away. The game's official X page announced the giveaway on August 19, 2024. This article will explain more about it all.
Black Ops 6 early access beta free codes
Black Ops 6 will officially release on October 25, 2024. However, as mentioned above, the early access beta begins on August 30. Call of Duty gave away codes completely for free, which will allow many players to experience the game ahead of its official release.
The rule was simple — if the aforementioned X post got 6,000 reposts, the giveaway would become official. Naturally, the post blitzed through that number in no time. To get their hands on the free codes, fans had to go to the official Black Ops 6 website and log in. From thereon, they had to enter their details in the registration column. The codes were given away at random.
The post soon sailed past 6,000 reshares, with all the codes instantly gone in a matter of minutes. This means 6,000 people will receive free access to Black Ops 6 early access beta.
An hour after the initial giveaway post, the official Call of Duty X page announced that the codes had been sent out. For those who missed it, the only way to get the game early is to pre-order it.
