While there are a few ways to get the game running unofficially, you cannot play Warzone on macOS. It won't be a good experience and is not recommended. The game is simply not designed for Apple's hardware and as a result, you will encounter frequent graphical glitches and performance issues, making it nearly impossible to play it smoothly.
Moreover, Call of Duty's anti-cheat solution, Ricochet anti-cheat, doesn't support macOS. This is another major reason why you can't play the game natively on your system.
What are the supported platforms you can play Warzone on?
Although you cannot play Warzone on macOS, several other platforms allow you to play the game natively and officially. The battle royale title can be played on any of the following platforms:
- PC: Windows 10 and Windows 11
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X
- Xbox Series S
For the Xbox and PlayStation systems, head to your platform's respective storefronts and download the game for free. On Windows PC, you can get the game either on Battle.net or Steam. Note that if you're going to play it on Windows, ensure your system meets the hardware requirements to run it properly.
