In short, yes, you can turn off cross-play in Black Ops 6 on PlayStation and Xbox. In modern day multiplayers, it's a staple in bridging the gap between PC and Console players. First introduced in the franchise back in Modern Warfare 2019, cross-play allows you and your friends on different platforms to join the same matches, making it easier to team up across platforms.
However, there are concerns of the increasing number of cheaters on PC, and the evergreen advantage they have over console players because of KBM. This has prompted many console gamers to want to disable this feature.
In this article, we will run you through how to disable Black Ops 6's cross-play in PlayStation and Xbox.

How to disable cross-play in Black Ops 6 on Xbox
If you are playing Black Ops 6 on an Xbox, you will have to tweak things AT the system level as there is no in-game toggle option. This means you will also be changing the settings for every other game you play on your Xbox.
Here are the steps:
- Navigate to the Profile & System option by pressing the Xbox guide button on your controller.
- From there, select Settings, then Account, and choose Privacy & Online settings.
- Enter your Xbox PIN (if required), then select Xbox Privacy, and then go to View Details & Customize.
- Navigate to Communication & Multiplayer and change the “You can join cross-network play” option from Allow to Block.
If you want to enable it for other games, you’ll need to return to these settings and toggle it back on. As of now, Black Ops 6 doesn’t have an option to disable crossplay for PC players.
