Popular Call of Duty content creator WhosImmortal recommends players use the Thermite in Warzone after the C4 nerf in Season 4 Reloaded. In the mid-season update, C4 was nerfed drastically and its damage profile was tweaked. This resulted in lower overall damage output and damage radius. What was once the go-to Lethal Equipment in Warzone no longer remained viable in the shooter.

Fortunately, WhosImmortal's latest video came out with a solution to the C4 nerf. He suggested all players use Thermite as it is currently the best alternative Lethal Equipment.

WhosImmortal advised players to use the Thermite in Warzone as an alternative to the C4. He came up with various points to support the equipment. First, it is one of those Lethal Equipment that can be thrown at longer ranges. Compared to C4 or Semtex, Thermite has a much longer throwing range and can thrown where these two cannot reach, which makes it instantly a much better pick.

Enemies are not always in your vicinity. With the Thermite's longer range, it can be used to target those who cannot be reached directly with your weapon. For instance, if an enemy is hiding behind a window and you cannot see them directly from the ground level, you can use Thermite to stick to the window pane to damage your opponent.

Second, it has a burning effect on sticking to the target. Just like Semtex, Thermite will stick to where it's thrown, be it a wall or an enemy. Since Thermite deals burn damage over time, it can be used to stick it to enemies using Riot Shields or simply deal burn damage over time on a regular player. You can then finish them off with your gun.

What makes it even better is that it doesn't have to stick to the enemy. As long as it is near the target, it will deal burn damage. This is a great way to lower their armor before dealing the final blow.

Third, since it sticks to surfaces and deals burn damage, you can use it to check an area before heading in. For instance, if you believe enemies are in a shed, you can simply throw your Thermite inside and see if it deals any damage. If a target was inside, they would get burn damage and you would be notified. Using this trick, you are not only detecting their presence but also lowering their health before taking the fight.

Finally, WhosImmortal mentions that it can prevent players from getting revived. If you knock out an enemy and throw Thermite near their body or at them, the burn damage will prevent them from being revived, and if somebody was already reviving them, they will get the burn damage as well, forcing them to move away and killing the knocked-out player.

Due to the multidimensional capabilities of the Thermite, WhosImmortal suggests players use Thermite over other Lethal Equipment, especially after the C4 nerf.
