Since its inception, Resurgence has been the go-to mode for many Warzone players. Unlike the typical Battle Royale modes, it allows for countless respawns as long as a player from the squad is alive and the Resurgence timer hasn't ended. This lets players rejoin the fight quickly after dying in-game. Thus, matches are far more intense and fast-paced.

Throughout the game's history, Resurgence has featured multiple maps including Rebirth Island, Fortune's Keep, Ashika Island, and Vondel, released in this order. However, there has always been a debate about which Resurgence map is the best.

To see what the community deems best, @ModernWarzone recently posted a poll on their official X account asking fans:

"What's the best Resurgence map in Warzone?"

This was followed by four options for the community: Rebirth Island, Vondel, Fortune's Keep, and Ashika Island. Needless to say, the community voted and shared their thoughts in the comment section.

Call of Duty fans discuss the best Resurgence map so far in Warzone

Call of Duty fans voted for the best Resurgence map in Warzone and its results as of writing stand as follows: Rebirth Island leads the poll with 73.5% votes, followed by Fortune's Keep at 12%, Vondel at 9.5%, and Ashika Island with only 5% of the votes. But as mentioned earlier, fans shared their thoughts on the topic of discussion as well and this is what they had to say.

"There's no debate on this Rebirth all the way", an X user wrote

One fan on X stated that this is not even a topic for debate and Rebirth Island takes the cake. Their opinions were rightly reflected by the poll, with Rebirth Island leading the charts by a huge margin.

"Rebirth. It set the bar. Others can't even see the bar they are so low in comparison", said X user @SxyHyper16SS

Other fans also shared similar opinions. One of them claims that the best map has to be Rebirth Island. They add that the map sets the bar for all other Resurgence maps, which, unfortunately, no maps can match.

While Rebirth Island might have a huge fan following and win the poll, not every player agreed on it being the best map:

"Came back to play Rebirth a few days ago. It's the campiest map of all maps listed. I now know why people voted it the best map", a fan stated

Another fan on X mentioned that they are confused why people voted for Rebirth Island as the best map, stating they played on the map a few days ago and their experience wasn't what they expected. They called it the "campiest map" of all the Resurgence maps in Warzone.

But they weren't the only ones who despised Rebirth Island. Many fans also had a similar opinion on the discussion:

"Every map has its Pros and Cons but i have to go with Fortune's Keep the flow of it is just too good, and for me Ashika Island and Fortune's keep are tied they flow the same", a fan said on X

Among the fans who weren't in favor of Rebirth Island, one said if they had to pick one map from the list, it had to be Fortune's Keep. They mention that the flow of gameplay on the map is way better than on other maps except for Ashika Island, in which, they believe the gameplay flows identically.

While most discussions were about Rebirth Island being the best map or Fortune's Keep being the better map, others were unhappy with the number of votes Ashika Island received, which is only 5% of all the votes. A fan decided to point this out:

"I enjoy all but FK. I can’t believe the hate for Ashika if you constantly rotate on that map it’s super fun to play on", one fan wrote

An advocate of the Japanese map Ashika Island states that they love playing all the maps except for Fortune's Keep. However, the main intention of the comment appears to defend Ashika Island. They claim that the map is "super fun" to play on. However, it will require the player to constantly be on the move and not adopt the sentinel playstyle on the map.

Despite being a one-sided poll with Rebirth Island winning, there are fans of the other maps as well, who have shared their opinions throughout the comment section. Hence, although the poll might be one-sided, the game's community is diverse with everyone loving different maps and having their reasons for doing so.
