Call of Duty players have discovered a way to G Slide in Black Ops 6. For those new to the series, G Slide originated back in Black Ops 3. This movement mechanic essentially allows players to move faster and shoot while sliding. Those who G Slide are much more difficult to hit as they are moving faster on the map, and they can also lock onto their targets and eliminate all their enemies in the way while sliding.

This movement mechanic is present in Black Ops 6 too, giving players the same benefits. However, unlike in Black Ops 3, implementing the trick in the latest game is a little different. Hence, in this guide, we will explain how you can G Slide in Black Ops 6.

How to G Slide in Black Ops 6

To successfully G Slide in Black Ops 6, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Start a Tactical Sprint.
  • Jump right when the animation for the Sprint begins.
  • Aim down the sight immediately and proceed to slide.

That's it. You just implemented a G Slide. Although it might not look like anything drastically different from your point of view, from your enemies' perspective, you will move much faster than possible while going for a usual slide.

Alternatively, you can try it over objects for an even more significant speed boost. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Start a Tactical Sprint.
  • When near an object, proceed to jump and immediately slide.
  • As soon as you are about to exit the object's area, slide again.

This gives you a bigger speed boost as you gain a lot of momentum when sliding over an object.

As @iBuLieVe describes it, it essentially gives you a "mega slide", which allows you to move across the map faster and make yourself a difficult target to hit in the match.

Do note that this isn't limited to just Black Ops 6. After Warzone's integration with Black Ops 6, this movement mechanic can also be replicated in the battle royale. In fact, it will be a lot more effective in Warzone, as on top of it making you a harder-to-hit target, the shields give you sufficient protection against players who might have otherwise knocked you out.
