Since the introduction of the Superi 46 in Warzone Season 4, the SMG has been the undisputed meta in the COD battle royale. However, after the update on July 30, 2024, the SMG received significant nerf, making Warzone fans wonder about the next SMG meta in the game. Popular COD pro FaZe Swagg released a video after the nerf and revealed the next SMG meta in Warzone.

In his video, Swagg stated:

"Goodbye Superi, Hello MP7"

While the MW2 weapon VEL 46 has always been a great choice of SMG for close-range gunfights, after the introduction of the Superi 46, players were leaning toward the original one. However, in his video, Swagg recommended the best VEL 46 that can be a great competitor to all the other meta SMGs in the game right now.

If you are looking for the best VEL 46 loadout recommended by Swagg in Warzone Season 5, here's what you need to use:

Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
Stock: Demo RXT Stock
Rear Grip: ZLR Combat Grip
Magazine: 50 Round MAG

The CoD pro recommended the Quartermaster Suppressor to use as a Muzzle in the VEL 46 loadout, and this is one of the most important attachments. The Quartermaster Suppressor reduces the gun kick control and decreases both horizontal and vertical recoil. Due to that, you can take part in mid-range fights while the build keeps you off the radar.

The Paracord Grip is also another new attachment in this season. This brand-new Underbarrel improves the weapon's accuracy. It also decreases the horizontal recoil and improves aim walking steadiness, making the loadout more comfortable to use.

Using the Demo RXT Stock might affect the accuracy a little bit, but it heavily increases the movement speed. It boosts crouch movement and adds ADS speed, making players easier to maneuver.

As for the Rear Grip, Swagg recommended the ZLR Combat Grip, which has been a classic one since MW2. It also helps the recoil control and gun kick control. However, using this attachment might affect sway a little bit while aiming idle.

Finally, the 50 Round Mag is important as you don't want to run out of bullets while fighting in close-range gunfights. The VEL 46 has a great fire rate, making the magazine go empty sooner than most weapons. Hence, this attachment is necessary for the build.
