The campaign ending of Black Ops 6 left us with many unanswered questions. Perhaps one of the most mysterious ones is whether Adler killed Jane Harrow's parents or not. Well, the answer is, that we don't really know. We see Harrow have a flashback of a masked assassin shooting her parents. Although she believes it's Russell Adler, the game does not clearly define said assassin.
What we do know is that the CIA had Jane Harrow's parents killed for reasons that still remain undisclosed in the storyline of Black Ops 6. This article will go into more detail regarding the events surrounding Harrow's parents' murder.
Did Russell Adler really kill Jane Harrow's parents in Black Ops 6?
Russell Adler is a key figure in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. During the Separation Anxiety mission in the game, Harrow is injected with a drug that makes her spill the truth about her motivations against the CIA.
Following that, the mission takes you into the mind of Jane as she relives the harrowing memory of the day her parents were murdered. As the mission goes on, we see a masked assassin shoot both of her parents while a young Jane hides inside a closet, witnessing the massacre through a gap between the doors.
Harrow then reveals that she worked her way upwards in the hierarchy of the CIA to find her parents' killer. One odd day, she receives a floppy disk sent by Pantheon. It reveals that it was the CIA who ordered the murder of her parents. Harrow says:
"The Pantheon. They had copies of my parents' records, entire histories. Details of the operation that killed them. It was ordered by the CIA itself. It was Adler."
During the mission, a computer screen shows records of Jane Harrow's parents and Russell Adler as Harrow speaks about the murders. She also believes Adler to be her parents' killer. However, the assassin shown in the game remains completely unknown, the mask giving away nothing except the fact that he is a male.
The possibility of Russell Adler being the assassin who killed Jane Harrow's parents in the Black Ops 6 campaign is not very far-fetched. However, the game itself provides no proof of this whatsoever, and neither does it clearly reveal who the masked assassin actually was.
Apart from Harrow's visions and her words, there is no substantial proof supporting the theory that Adler killed Jane's parents in Black Ops 6.
