Recently, Warzone pro player Fifakill posted a clip on his official X handle, expressing frustration over the state of Warzone Ranked Play in the EU region. Owing to the rampant presence of hackers in the game, he claimed that the European Union has become unplayable:

"EU is unplayable.''

After hours of gameplay disrupted by repeated encounters with cheaters, his statement highlights growing concerns about the hacker situation in Warzone Ranked Play.

In this article, we will delve into his post and analyze the current state of hacking in the game.

Warzone Ranked Play may be full of hackers in the EU region

The clip posted by Fifakill vividly shows how a hacker eliminated him in Warzone Ranked Play. In the video, he was inside a house when he heard gunshots and enemies approaching. To defend himself, he smoked the area, but it wasn’t enough to stop the hacker. The latter tracked him through the smoke and even as he was moving around inside the house.

Despite his efforts to hide, the hacker accurately followed his every move and ultimately killed him.

This experience left Fifakill frustrated, leading him to post the clip along with a caption detailing his previous day's 10-hour gaming session, during which he encountered hackers repeatedly.

The next day, he was hopeful things would be different and that he wouldn’t face as many hackers. However, his optimism quickly faded. In his second game, he encountered another one and was eliminated again.

Many users supported Fifakill and agreed with his statement. The ongoing hacking problem in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Ranked Play has prompted the developers to implement significant changes to their anti-cheat system, Ricochet.

However, these changes will not be part of the current season but will be introduced in the Season 2 and Season 3 updates. The Ricochet anti-cheat will receive an enhanced Kernel-Level Driver and new server-side protections. The goal is to not only catch and punish hackers but to prevent them from playing the game altogether.

In the meantime, the developers have asked players to report cheaters for the rest of December 2024. These reports will be investigated, providing valuable insights into emerging cheats, which will help make the system more effective at combating different cheating tools.

Popular players like Fifakill have consistently encountered hackers in Warzone Ranked Play in the EU region, indicating a surge in hackers within the region.

However, the developers have stated they will continue monitoring the situation and are working to improve it. With the upcoming season, players can expect significant improvements with the introduction of new features and upgrades.
