How to appear offline in Warzone

One can have numerous reasons for wanting to appear offline in Warzone. Maybe they do not want to be bothered by their friends or random players they have met online, or perhaps they don't want to show their play status. Unfortunately, the game doesn't allow players to appear offline directly and it must be done on the platform one is playing the title on.

How to appear offline in Warzone on all platforms

Here's how you can appear offline in Warzone on all the platforms the game is available on:

PS4 and PS5

On both PS4 and PS5, the process is pretty straightforward. Follow these steps to maintain your offline status:

Navigate to your Profile from the Home Screen.
Select Online Status.
Select Appear Offline.

That's it. You'll be able to play the game without appearing online and unless you invite others, everyone will see you as offline.

Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

Appearing offline on the Xbox platforms is also quite similar. Here's how you can do it:

Navigate to your Profile from the Home Screen.
Select Appear Offline.

That's it for the consoles. Both platforms follow a similar set of rules to keep a player under the radar. However, things can get a little complicated on PC. Read below to learn how to appear offline in Warzone on PC.

Windows PC (Steam, Battle.net, Xbox App)

Unlike consoles, Warzone on PC is available on multiple clients and each has their own way of executing the same action. Here's how you can do it for all the PC clients:

Steam

Go to the Library.
Select Friends & Chat at the bottom right corner.
Click on the down arrow near your profile name.
Select Invisible.

Battle.net

Click on your Battle.net ID located at the top right corner.
Select Appear Offline.

Xbox App

From the Home Screen, click on your Xbox tag located at the top left corner.
Select Appear Offline.

You are all set. Irrespective of the platform you are on, you'll now appear offline in Warzone.
