Changing the Loading Screen in MW3 is pretty straightforward and effortless. The Loading Screen is an image displayed on-screen while the game loads the map before a match. Depending on the hardware, these screens can differ in duration. However, staring at the same screen over a long time can quickly become dull, especially when the game is loading bigger maps, where load times are a little longer.

Fortunately, Call of Duty allows players to change these screens to avoid looking at the same screen every time. These screens can be obtained in many different ways. For instance, they are often bundled together with the in-game store packs. They can also be unlocked for free by participating in limited-time events or completing certain challenges in MW3 and Warzone. Moreover, since MW3 carries forward the MW2 purchases, they too will be available in the game.

In this article, we will look closer at how you can change the Loading Screen in MW3 effortlessly and quickly.

Guide to changing the Loading Screen in MW3

Follow these steps to change the Loading Screen in MW3 easily:

  • First, load up Call of Duty HQ and go to Modern Warfare 3 (any mode is fine).
  • Now select the "Customize" tab at the top.
  • From there, select "Loading Screen". Here, you will find all the Loading Screens in the game, both unlocked and locked.
  • Select the loading screen as per your preference.

That's it. Next time you load into a match, the newly equipped Loading Screen will appear. If you don't want to see one particular Loading Screen all the time, you may select the "Random" card. Doing so will show you a random Loading Screen every time you load into a match.

Alternatively, you can add a set of particular screens to your "Favorites "and then select the "Randomize Favorites" card. This will only show you the screens selected as your Favorites.

If none of the screens are up to your taste and you wish to return to the default screen, select the "Default map" card and your settings will be reverted to their default setting.
