With the launch of Citadelle des Mortes, players are looking to complete the Cheese easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies. The objective of this easter egg challenge is to obtain 10 rats scattered around the French Castle. Finishing this easter egg challenge will reward players with several in-game rewards including tactical equipment, in-game currency, and more.

How to get Cheese easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies Citadelle des Morts

After getting into a match of Citadelle des Morts, go North from the Town Square POI and look right into a glass cabinet filled with cheese wheels. Shooting the cabinet will reveal the first item which is a wedge of cheese that can be picked up using the interact button.

This step will be the start of the easter egg challenge and you must locate all 10 rats within the Citadelle des Morts. To do this, crouch down and carefully approach each rat, forcing it to run away before moving on to the next location.

All Cheese easter egg rat locations in Citadelle des Morts

1) Town Square

The first rat can be found near the spawn location in the Town Square POI. It is located by the flower pot to the left side, adjacent to the Nature Path POI. You can scare this rat away by going prone.

Village Ascent

The second rat can be found in the Village Ascent area near Town Square. You can get to the alley near the pizza van and go prone to locate the rat lurking near the obstructions.

Nature Path

The third rat can be found in the Nature Path POU on the North side. It is located outside a hole in the ground.

Lion Canon

The fourth rat can be found near the Lion Canon on a broken step near the Village Ramparts POI. It can be found on the Melee Macchiato side of the cannon.

Entrance Hall

The fifth rat is located beneath the two wooden chairs towards the eastern part of the Entrance Hall after Jugger-Nog.

Dining Hall

The sixth rat can be found next to the Stag Knight statue below a wooden palette in the Dining Hall POI.

Dungeon

The seventh rath can be found within a cell at the North wall next to the wall-buy- weapon in the Oubliette Room in Dungeon POI.

Sitting Rooms

The eighth rat is located under a wooden table beside a bunker bed in the southwest corner of the Sitting Rooms POI.

Alchemical Lab

To get the ninth rat, head to the Alchemical Lab once you have opened Pack-a-Punch. The rat is behind the stone tablet that displays the Elemental Sword symbols towards the northeast wall.

Undercroft

The final rat can be found by the mystery box in the Undercroft near the west wall. You can get prone toward the lamp where the rat is resting.

How to claim Cheese easter egg rewards

Head to the Oubliette Room after finding all 10 rats in Cheese easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies. All the rats will be surrounding a plate waiting for some cheese. You must interact with the plate to drop the cheese wheel.

The rats will eat the wheel and leave a bunch of random rewards, which can be picked up from the ground. Here are all the rewards for completing the Cheese easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies:
