The Sleeper Agent in Black Ops 6 is a Field Upgrade that allows players to disguise themselves as a member of the opponent team. It makes the player appear as an ally to their opponents and also gives them access to their voice comms. Naturally, the Sleeper Agent is extremely powerful and can get them out of an unfavorable situation easily. However, while this might be a great tool for the player using it, it becomes a nuisance for the enemy team.

Hence, in this guide, we'll take a closer look at some of the best ways to counter the Sleeper Agent in Black Ops 6.

Best ways to counter the Sleeper Agent in Black Ops 6

There are three best ways to counter the Sleeper Agent in Black Ops 6. Here's how you can do it:

Use the right Perks

There are two Perks in Black Ops 6 that can help you counter the Sleeper Agent with ease. They are Tracker (Perk slot 2) and Vigilance (Perk slot 3). The Tracker Perk shows the footsteps of all enemies which also applies to the Sleeper Agent in the match, allowing you to easily single out the spy.

Meanwhile, the Vigilance Perk will make you completely immune to the Sleeper Agent. So, you'll be able to see them as an enemy player even if they have their Field Upgrade on.

Identify the right Operator model

This method of identification can be a little tricky but will still get the job done. In the game, the Operators are divided into two factions - Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One. For instance, Woods is from Rogue Black Ops and Caine is from Crimson One.

If you are representing Rogue Black Ops in a match and you suddenly see Caine in your team, you should rightly assume that he is a Sleeper Agent.

However, this strategy will require you to learn the appearance of all Operators and get familiar with the factions they belong to.

Use the right Scorestreaks

The Sleeper Agents aren't safe from Scout Pulses and UAVs. They will easily appear on the mini-map when activated. Moreover, if they're using unsilenced weapons in the match, they will also appear as dots on the mini-map. Knowing such small giveaways will help you spot them easily and take them down if they try to infiltrate your spawn. This is a fantastic way to counter any spies in your match. Hence, make sure you have the right Scorestreaks.
