With the return of round-based zombies, many newcomers are wondering how to exfil in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Exfil or exfiltration simply means exiting a match. In BO6 Zombies, a match usually ends when you die or exfil. If you die, your progress is lost to an extent—any loot you earned is gone. However, if you're able to exfil safely, you get to keep the loot and also earn a plethora of additional XP, which can go towards leveling up.

Currently, there are two maps in Black Ops 6 Zombies, and the exfil process and rules for both are the same. This guide will take a closer look at how you can exfil in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Complete guide to safely exfil in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Here's how you can safely exfil in Black Ops 6 Zombies:

You can exfil in Black Ops 6 every fifth round, starting with round 11. This means that you can exfil in rounds 11, 16, 21, and so forth. There are no provisions at the moment to exfil before round 11.
Once you reach round 11, you'll be informed that an exfil site has appeared. It will be marked with a walkie-talkie. You can avoid this exfil and wait for the 16th round. It's completely up to you. But do note that no exfil sites will remain forever. Hence, you must decide beforehand when you want to exfil.
Head over to the location and interact with the exfil radio. This will call in the chopper for a safe exfil.
An exfil location will be marked on the map with a green smoke. Head over to the location as soon as possible.
Once you have reached the exfil site, a timer will kick off and spawn a horde of zombies. You must survive this by taking down the zombies and also remain in the area.
After the timer is finished counting down, a cutscene will play showing that you have escaped from the map successfully.

That's it. Do note that if you fail to exfil, a cutscene will play, showing the heli going down, thus failing the exfiltration process. Furthermore, it is highly suggested to Pack-a-Punch your weapons and collect Scorestreaks, Perks, and any equipment in the game before you go for an exfil.

This will help you survive the last horde. They can be excruciatingly difficult to take down, especially in rounds over 21.
