Energy Mine is a Field Upgrade in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Field Upgrades are interesting abilities that provide temporary power-ups, and BO6 Zombies feature five of them. These are Energy Mine, Healing Aura, Dark Flare, Frenzied Guard, and Aether Shroud.

The Energy Mine is the first Field Upgrade you can acquire. It offers a powerful ability that creates a mine of pure energy, detonating in rapid succession to deal lethal electric damage within a small radius. It is most effective when used against hordes of zombies, especially when they are clustered together. However, be mindful that after using it, it has a cooldown period before it can be used again.

How to unlock Energy Mine in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Energy Mine Field Upgrade is unlocked by default in Black Ops 6 Zombies, with no specific criteria in place. You can select it before a match in your Loadout section.

During a match, you can also change your Field Upgrade at any time using the in-game menu. However, be aware that doing so will reset the cooldown.

Additionally, the new Augment system introduced in BO6 allows you to enhance the effectiveness of Field Upgrades. Each Field Upgrade features six Augments—three minor and three major—but you can equip only one minor and one major Augment at a time.

Scatter: The Energy Mine will split into three mines that scatter and detonate one time each.
