The Iron Ore is a universal camo that you can unlock for free by completing certain challenges in Warzone. This camo is a reward from the Warzone Rewards section, introduced back in Season 4. Each season, new challenges become available exclusively for Warzone players, offering the chance to earn great rewards, and this time you have the opportunity to acquire four camos, one blueprint, and other in-game cosmetics.

How to unlock the Iron Ore weapon camo in Warzone

The Iron Ore weapon camo can be unlocked by completing all four tasks available in the Combat Expertise category from the Warzone Rewards section. Here are the challenges you need to complete, along with the associated rewards you will receive upon completing each one:

Buy 15 Loadout Weapons in Buy Stations - "Prone Patience" Large Decal
Get 10 Operators Headshot Kills - "Trained and Ready" Calling Card
Wipe Out 5 different Squads - "Tracking Target" Emblem
Reach Top 3 in Warzone 3 times - "Iron Ore" Camo

Season 5 Warzone Rewards consist of four categories: Combat Expertise, Cooperation, Mobility, and Redacted. Each category has four tasks, and each task gets unlocked once the previous one is completed. You can choose any category and complete its four tasks independently. Each challenge completion will reward you with in-game cosmetics, and the fourth and final task from each category will reward you with a universal weapon camo.

Since there are four categories, each with four tasks, there are a total of 16 challenges. Completing all 16 tasks will reward you with the Sports Icon Weapon Blueprint for the Bruen MK9 LMG.

The quickest way to complete the Combat Expertise category in Warzone is to play Plunder. In this mode, players are less competitive, giving you the best chance to complete the three tasks: buying Loadouts from Buy Stations, getting Operator headshot kills, and reaching the Top 3.

For the Squad Wipe challenge, it's best to play Solos in either Battle Royale or Resurgence, as any kill will count as a squad wipe.
