How to switch to third-person mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Whether you’re playing solo or with friends, third-person offers a fresh perspective to your Black Ops 6 Zombies experience. Switching to it is a very straightforward process and can be done with the following steps:

  • Pause your game during your Zombies session.
  • Select the option “Switch to Third Person.”

The camera will zoom out, giving you a third-person view of the game. Currently, this option is exclusive to the Zombies mode. There's still a chance that it could be added to others via future updates.

Alternatively, there is a faster way to change perspectives in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Here are the steps:

  • If you’re on a controller, hold the "down" button on the D-pad.
  • Be cautious, as tapping it might activate a Killstreak if you have one equipped.
  • Ensure you press and hold the button until your perspective changes.
  • If you are on mouse and keyboard, hold the J key to toggle your view.
  • This keybind is set by default, but you can change it from the settings menu if needed.

If you want to return to the first-person mode, repeat the steps mentioned above.

The omnimovement system in Black Ops 6 Zombies shines in the third-person mode. Use this system to keep ahead of zombie swarms and dodge attacks effectively, taking advantage of the wider view to scout enemies and plan your moves. To make your experience even smoother, you can fine-tune your camera angles and sensitivity.
