The return of Control in Black Ops 6 offers players a fresh experience, breaking away from the title's usual gameplay. There are various multiplayer modes in Bo6, and among them, Control is one that requires proper team coordination to win. The mode has two teams fighting against each other, each with different objectives. It was first introduced in Black Ops Cold War, and has also featured in many CoD series.

This article explains how to play Control in Black Ops 6.

Everything you need to know about Control in Black Ops 6

Control in Black Ops 6 is a Multiplayer mode in which players are divided into two teams: Attackers and Defenders. The objective of Attackers is to take control of two points, A and B, on a map. On the other hand, the Defenders' objective is to prevent them from capturing those points. Each round lasts for one minute and thirty seconds, which determines its outcome.

Interestingly, the match timer stops when the Attackers are continuously capturing a Control Point, which requires them to fill all three of its segments. Once a segment is captured, it is marked as completed and cannot be reclaimed by the Defenders.

Moreover, if the attacking team takes one of the Control Points, the round timer is extended by an additional minute. Each team is allotted 30 lives per round in Control. When these lives are used, the team loses the round. However, each player can respawn and rejoin their teams after being eliminated by enemies.

After one round, both teams switch sides, ensuring the fairness of the mode. It's important to remember that Control's gameplay heavily depends on team coordination and how players execute every step strategically.
