How to prestige in Modern Warfare 3

Prestige in Modern Warfare 3 allows you to level up beyond the standard maximum Level 55. Until you reach that point, each level completion rewards you with new items such as weapons, perks, and more. Once you surpass Level 55, the prestige system automatically activates.

Prestige in Modern Warfare 3 explained

The prestige system in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 works automatically. Once you complete level 55, the system activates without the need for any additional criteria. You progress through different prestige tiers, reaching a new tier every 50 levels. Modern Warfare 3 follows a seasonal progression model, adding new prestige tiers each new season.

In earlier Call of Duty titles, the prestige system worked differently. You could choose whether to prestige after reaching level 55, which would reset everything and start you back at level 1 with all weapons and challenges reset. However, the current system allows you to keep everything and continue grinding your levels.

In Modern Warfare 3, upon reaching a new prestige tier, you automatically unlock an emblem reward. Afterward, you can complete challenges to unlock Calling Cards and Mastery Calling Cards.
