The Gridlocked camo is a new addition to Modern Warfare 3, available for free once certain criteria are met to unlock it. With the Season 4 Reloaded update, a popular parkour-style mode previously named G3T_H1GH has been reintroduced with revamped changes and a slightly different name, G3T_H1GH3R. This limited-time mode offers three exclusive camos — Gridlocked, Shifting Grid, and Synth Bust — by meeting specific criteria for each.

How to get the Gridlocked camo for free in Modern Warfare 3
To acquire the Gridlocked camo, you need to play the G3T_H1GH3R mode and complete the run before time is out. Among the three available camos, this is the easiest and the only one that is not animated.

The mode features parkour-style gameplay where you race against other players to reach the finish line at the top of the map. To complete the course, you must ascend to the maximum height, overcoming various obstacles within a 15-minute timer.
Checkpoints are placed after each major obstacle, allowing you to respawn at the last checkpoint reached if you fall off the map.
This mode requires movement accuracy and precise timing, which become more manageable with practice. Completing the run before the 15-minute mark on your first attempt rewards you with the Gridlocked camo.
How to unlock the Shifting Grid and Synth-Bust animated camo in Modern Warfare 3
The Gridlocked camo can be acquired easily, but the real challenge lies in obtaining the other two camos: the Shifting Grid animated camo, which is easier compared to the Synth-Bust animated camo.

To unlock the Shifting Grid camo, you must complete the course in under 10 minutes. It is a challenging task that requires practice and precision to navigate obstacles without falling off the map.
For the Synth-Bust animated camo, you must collect 12 hidden coins scattered across the map in a single run, making it the most challenging of the three.
This mode is a limited-time offering, with no official confirmation of its availability beyond the conclusion of Season 4, scheduled to end on July 24, 2024, at 9 am PT. It is highly unlikely that this mode will continue into Modern Warfare 3 Season 5.
