The Mastery Camo grind is back in Warzone after its integration with Black Ops 6, and King's Ransom is the second among the four Mastery Camos available: Gold Tiger, King's Ransom, Catalyst, and Abyss. These grinds are challenging, with the difficulty increasing significantly as you progress.
Being the second on the list, King's Ransom is more difficult than Gold Tiger and requires a substantial amount of time to unlock. Mastery Camos must be unlocked individually for each weapon, meaning you’ll need to repeat the process for every gun.
This article focuses specifically on the King's Ransom Mastery Camo and provides a step-by-step guide for unlocking it in Warzone.
Procedure to unlock the King's Ransom Mastery Camo in Warzone
To unlock the King's Ransom Mastery Camo in Warzone, you must follow a specific progression system. The Camo grind is divided into three tiers: Military, Special, and Mastery. To access the Mastery Camo challenges, you first need to unlock all nine Military Camos and complete the two Special Camos.
Each Military Camo requires a certain number of kills and is sequential, meaning unlocking one grants access to the next. Here is a list of all Military Camos and their respective challenges:
Once you've completed the Military Camo grind, you can proceed to the Special Camo segment. Like the Military Camos, the Special Camos also have specific, sequential challenges.
Here are the Special Camos and their respective unlock requirements:
Upon completing this challenge, you’ll be eligible to unlock the first Mastery Camo, Gold Tiger. For the second, King's Ransom, there are two requirements. The first is unlocking the Gold Tiger Camo for seven assault rifles. The second requires you to get three kills without dying five times.
While the challenge itself isn’t difficult, the time-consuming part is unlocking the Gold Tiger Camo for seven ARs.
Important note: All challenges must be completed with the specific weapon you wish to unlock the camos for. To unlock them for another weapon, you'll need to repeat the entire process.

The best approach is to play Plunder, as it offers less competition, and you can drop into the match with your selected loadout. This ensures the weapon you want to unlock the camo for is available from the very beginning of the match. Plus, the mode has unlimited respawns, making it easier to gather kills.
To make it even easier, customize your weapon to its full potential by equipping the Gunslinger Wildcard, which allows you to add three extra attachments. This gives your weapon an edge over other players.
