Modern Warfare 3 has been plagued with a major problem of Packet Burst since its release in early November 2024. Despite rolling out various updates and fixes, Sledgehammer's team hasn't been able to provide a permanent solution to this inevitable issue. Consequently, players are so upset with the game that some have already quit playing.

In a recent post on X, one reputed insider shared their undesirable experience in Modern Warfare 3 by highlighting the annoying situation of Packet Burst.

While reacting to this post, one Call of Duty player shared that they have actually stopped playing MW3 due to this issue.

"I don't even play this trash game anymore because of this."

Another user shared that MW3 has been nothing short of a nightmare for them as a result of unexpected instances of Packet Burst.

Meanwhile, another CoD player wrote that they cannot progress through Ranked Play matches because of Packet Burst in MW3's online experience.

Despite growing complaints from players, it appears that there's still no effective fix available to get rid of Packet Burst in public matches.

Modern Warfare 3 matches are getting increasingly affected by Packet Burst

Sledgehammer Games' team needs to address the ongoing situation as soon as possible to provide a stable solution for players. Or else, more users may end up leaving the game.

MW3 has good and compelling content consisting of exciting modes, maps, and weapons. But all of this is void if the overall experience is still ruined by Packet Burst issues.

Players have evidently reached their breaking point and hope the developers will deploy a major patch to eradicate this problem.
