Yes, Russell Adler is in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Recently, BO6's teaser trailer went live, giving fans a glimpse into what to expect. It was also uploaded to Call of Duty's official website. However, the thumbnail of this teaser trailer on the website was mistakenly put up for the 'Reveal Trailer,' which is yet to go live. This reveal trailer thumbnail features only one person, and it is none other than Russell Adler.

Russell Adler is confirmed to return in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

As stated earlier, Russell Adler is coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 6. The recent mishap with the trailer thumbnails gave fans the first look at Russell in Black Ops 6, confirming his return to the game. In the image, Russell is wearing a pair of pilot shades and a long coat that almost covers his face, giving him the appearance of a spy. However, he doesn't appear to be alone in the picture; it looks like he is looking at another character directly through a window.

Russell's presence in Black Ops 6's reveal trailer thumbnail perfectly aligns with the previous hints that Call of Duty dropped on their official website.

Previously, CoD displayed a picture of Russell Adler's CIA report that highlighted his expertise and skills in covert operations and intel gathering. This was a direct hint that led fans to believe the character would be in the upcoming game's campaign. However, apart from this little detail, there was hardly anything to go on that confirmed Russell's return.

But, the recently uploaded thumbnail for the 'Reveal Trailer' confirms that Adler is returning and will be a major part of the game's plot. Furthermore, contrary to the popular belief, it appears that he didn't die at the end of the Black Ops Cold War's campaign.

For those who are new to the series, Russell Adler made his first appearance in the series with Black Ops Cold War and instantly became one of the most popular characters in the franchise to date.

He has worked as an agent for the CIA. In Black Ops Cold War, he was one of the most important characters along with Sgt. Frank Woods and Alex Mason, who helped stop the KGB agent Perseus right in his tracks. This brought an end to the Cold War.

With Russell's expertise in covert operations and gathering intel, the character is certain to play a significant role in the upcoming game.

That covers everything that you need to know about the return of the iconic Call of Duty character in Black Ops 6.
