Whether Black Ops 6 is cross-platform is one of the most frequently asked questions by fans online. Cross-platform or crossplay is a feature that allows players using different systems to play together in the same lobby or server. The title is available on multiple platforms, including consoles of the last generation. Hence, this poses the question of whether players on different consoles/platforms can play with each other, irrespective of their platform of choice for the game.

Does Black Ops 6 support cross-platform play?
Yes, Black Ops 6 is cross-platform. Irrespective of the platform you own, you'll be able to play with your friends on any system. BO6 supports crossplay right out of the bat, and players won't have to tweak any specific setting in-game to enable it. In fact, the game has cross-generational support as well, which means a player on PS4 will be able to play with others on PS5. The same goes for the Xbox platforms.

Therefore, players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox App), will be able to play with each other with no hiccups. However, console players do have the option to turn the crossplay off if they wish to only play with users on the same platform.
PlayStation users can do it from within the game, and for Xbox players, this has to be implemented on the system level. Unfortunately, that is not an option for players on PC.
That said, do note that if you are on an Xbox or PlayStation console (both current and last gen), you must have an active subscription to Xbox Core and PlayStation Plus Essential at the least to play the title online with your friends, be it Multiplayer or Zombies.
