Call of Duty content creator and streamer JGOD offered a response to the removal of the gas mask animation in the MW3 and Warzone Season 5 update. The animation, which blurred players' fields of view, was often a hindrance. This change has sparked a lively discussion in the gaming community, with players and content creators expressing their satisfaction.

Commending the latest Warzone update for removing the gas mask animation, @JGODYT posted:

"It only took 4 years and 3 months, but it has finally happened in Warzone hahahaha."

One user, @TheARESxGOD expressed their concern regarding developer support for MW3 and Warzone, highlighting how the team took a long time to remove the gas mask animation. They feel the studio behind the game takes "years" to solve issues.

User @travis311 explained how things were during Vanguard's integration into Warzone when the gas mask animation was a serious problem. It used to ruin the player's FOV and made it difficult to spot enemies in the end zones.

Another individual, @_Chuck., feels the developers make such changes to CoD titles only when 'they're about to go away'. The user said:

"Just like every year, they make great updates to the game the second it’s about to go away. Hopefully, there is a significant player count loss from CFB25 that drives them to actually care for once."
