Popular Call of Duty content creator, NerosCinema, recently called out Black Ops 6 developers for the game's experience. The individual often takes to YouTube to share their thoughts about CoD games and keep their community up to date with the latest developments in this franchise. Despite being a long-time fan of Call of Duty, they weren't happy with Black Ops 6.
Critcizing the title's multiplayer experience as well as the title as a whole, NerosCinema said on X:
"With the release of Nuketown it's official. It's not even the maps that are bad in Black Ops 6... it's Black Ops 6 in general. Omnimovement, Free Walkhacks, SBMM and Terrible Servers. No maps can work with that formula, even a map as tried and tested as Nuketown."
The content creator cited a lot of reasons for their opinions that involve the maps and the state of the multiplayer mode.
NerosCinema calls out Black Ops 6 for delivering fans a "bad" multiplayer experience
Based on NerosCinema's comments, it is evident that they are not happy with the Black Ops 6 multiplayer. According to them, the release of Nuketown, one of the oldest maps in the series, has confirmed their doubts that Black Ops 6 "in general" is not a good game when it comes to its multiplayer component.

The content creator seems to believe that Nuketown has always been a great map that perfectly fits the gameplay that Call of Duty aspires to deliver to its fans. If the game struggles even with this map, they feel that might be a red flag.
Apart from the BO6 maps, they also blame the aggressive implementation of Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM), bad servers, Omnimovement, and "free wallhacks" for the multiplayer's state.
Speaking of free wallhacks, this is actually built into the game. When players equip three BO6 Recon Perks, they unlock the Recon Specialist, which allows them to see all their enemies through walls for a brief period, just like a wallhack cheat would.
NerosCinema wasn't the only one to criticize BO6. Members of the community also shared their thoughts in the comments section of their post. One of the things that attracted a lot of complaints was related to the game's spawns. The spawns in Black Ops 6 seem to be broken, allowing players to easily spawn-trap enemies and ruin the experience for many.
However, not everyone agreed with NerosCinema completely, choosing to support the game instead. A comment by user @cyrisreads reads:
"Agreed it needs some fixes like a counter to Recon & the spawns. Assuming they can/will make these adjustments via updates. But overall I'm having a blast in BO6 & love Omnimovement."
This user thinks that the game certainly has a few quirks — such as the Recon Perks and the broken spawns — but overall, they seem having a good time with the shooter. They also mentioned that they love the new Omnimovement system, which enables new ways to move around and play the game.
