A new Double XP Weekend event went live today, August 10, 2024, for all MW3 (Modern Warfare 3) and Warzone players in Season 5. This event provides everyone the opportunity to grind the game to raise account ranks and weapon levels, and complete challenges to unlock higher Battle Pass sectors. It is hosted over the weekend so players can make the most out of it and gain access to high-tier rewards and cosmetics.

Double XP weekend in Warzone and MW3 Season 5
The latest Double XP event is already live for MW3 and Warzone players and can be directly accessed in-game. A total of three Double XP tokens have become active for this entire event:

As the name suggests, players can earn twice the amount of experience points by playing both games during this event. Once the Double XP Weekend ends, all three of the tokens will become inactive. Players can choose to purchase more Double XP tokens from the store after the event.
There are no additional steps that enthusiasts need to complete to be eligible for the Double XP event. They can simply update the game with the latest patch and log in to start playing in the ongoing boosted XP gain weekend.
