There's a new Fire Mod in Warzone that turns the XM4 into a zero-recoil Assault Rifle. The XM4, by default, is the jack of all trades. It doesn't excel in any one particular area but handles well in every aspect. For instance, it has a decent rate of fire, the damage range is respectable, and the recoil is mostly manageable. However, a Fire Mod that was added with Season 1 Reloaded rids the Assault Rifle of its recoil and makes it shoot figurative lasers.

Barrel: Reinforced Barrel

The Reinforced Barrel boosts the damage range as well as the bullet velocity of the XM4. This allows the gun to shine in long-range gunfights. The improved damage range and bullet velocity not only let you deal higher damage at long range but also ensure that your bullets cover this gap quickly.
