In Warzone Season 1, all bolt-action sniper rifles will offer a one-shot headshot from their respective maximum damage ranges. At launch, weapons from Black Ops 6 in Warzone will have the same values as their counterparts, such as ADS speed, sprint to fire and recoil.

However, the overall damage output for a certain number of weapons will be modified to make it more enjoyable in Warzone. On that note, Activision mentioned this huge buff, which could change the entire Battle Royale scenario.

Warzone Season 1 all bolt action sniper rifles receive a major buff of one-shot headshot

All bolt action sniper rifles in Warzone Season 1 will now offer a one-shot headshot while aiming down sights (ADS) within their respective max damage ranges. Here is the list of all bolt-action sniper rifles that may affected by this change:

  • KATT-AMR
  • MORS
  • XRK Stalker
  • FJX Imperium
  • Longbow
  • SP-X 80
  • LA-B 330

Players can witness this one-shot headshot buff as soon as Warzone Season 1 goes live on November 14, 2024. These changes are being implemented to ensure players can use weapons from the previous Call of Duty titles, such as MW2 and MW3, and make them a solid choice in Warzone Season 1.

Their main aim is to create a suitable combat system that makes every weapon enjoyable to use, regardless of origin.
