Call of Duty Multiplayer fans are waiting for the release of Black Ops 6 this fall. While the developers have already teased a lot of new features and revolutionary changes with the addition of Omnimovement, they have also shared a crucial piece of information on all the confirmed Operators and Factions for the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer experience at launch.
This article will reveal everything players need to know on the Factions and number of Multiplayer Operators arriving in BO6 on October 25.
Black Ops 6 Multiplayer to include two Factions and 12 Operators
A few days ago, Treyarch's team had an interaction with media outlet Screen Rant. During the interview, a lot of details from the game were discussed, including the Campaign, Zombies, and also Multiplayer. The developers revealed that Black Ops 6 will feature two Factions for the Multiplayer with six Operators in each Faction, thus bringing the total count to 12.
The two factions in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer will be called Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One (CIA-backed).
Here are all the Operators who will represent the BO6 factions:
Among the featured names of the Operators, Marshall's character is actually Troy Marshall. He's going to be a brand new character in the franchise and will be part of the Campaign mode.
While the current roster is official and confirmed, the game may witness more Operators making their appearances under both the factions. It has happened with past installments as well, so fans shouldn't be surprised if the list ends up extending eventually.
Black Ops 6 to have 16 Multiplayer maps on release day
The developers have already confirmed that there will be 16 maps for players who want to enjoy the Multiplayer experience to its fullest.
Out of the total map count, 12 will be core 6v6 maps, while the remaining four will be Strike maps to support 1v1 or 2v2 matches. However, the Strike maps will also enable 6v6 games. Also, all the MP maps will have their own stories as they all take place after the events of BO6's Campaign.
