The Esports World Cup has finally revealed the eleven teams invited to join the Modern Warfare 3 tournament. Teams like Atlanta FaZe and Toronto Ultra are powerhouses from the Call of Duty League, while others came from renowned esports teams across the globe. The MW3 competition in EWC will kick off on August 15, 2024, and will end on August 18, 2024.
The Esports World Cup is a $60,000,000 tournament that features the best teams and esports organizations across the world's biggest competitive titles. The tournament started in July 2024 with the Call of Duty Warzone tournament.
Atlanta FaZe, Toronto Ultra, and other teams invited to the Esports World Cup MW3 tournament
The MW3 tournament in the first-ever Esports World Cup will feature 16 different teams from different esports organizations across the globe. In July, EWC announced 11 invited teams, mostly from Call of Duty's premier MW3 tournament, the Call of Duty League (CDL).

All winners from this season's CDL Majors were invited: Toronto Ultra (Major 1), Atlanta FaZe (Major 2), OpTic Texas (Major 3), and New York Subliners (Major 4). This time, however, the Major 4 champions will rally under Cloud9, after the organization's reported acquisition in June 2024.
Here are the eleven invited teams in EWC Modern Warfare 3:

- Toronto Ultra
- Las Vegas Legion
- 100 Thieves
- Boston Breach
- Team Heretics
- Carolina Royal Ravens

Meanwhile, the six remaining teams will be taken from the Challenger teams (5) and MENA Qualifier (1). The MENA Qualifier happens on July 18-19, 2024.
The four-day Modern Warfare 3 tournament for EWC starts on August 15, 2024, and ends on August 18, 2024. Meanwhile, the other Call of Duty competition in EWC, Warzone, ended on July 6, 2024, with the Saudi-backed organization, Team Falcons bagging the ultimate prize. The team was composed of Biffle, Hisoka, and Shifty.
