The rumored Avalon map in Warzone has been witnessed by many Call of Duty players since the launch of Black Ops 6. A small part of this map is reportedly featured in the Lowtown map of the latest title. Interestingly, players can visit the areas and explore the said map. In an X post, @Lightsfire_ explained how to do this by tuning some in-game settings.
This article aims to cover everything we know about the Avalon map in Warzone.
NOTE: Players are advised to take early rumors, leaks, and speculations with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.
How to explore Avalon map in Warzone
As per the clip shared by Lightsfire_ on X, players can easily explore the Avalon map by starting a Private match in Black Ops 6. Per the X user, players must start a Private match by selecting the Lowtown map and tuning the time limit to 45 minutes to fully explore. Then, recruit one bot on the map so that the game doesn't crash.
Then, assign themself as the CoDCaster to spectate and make sure to hide every visual setting so that the screen doesn't show any of the CoDCaster settings while exploring. Next, change the camera movement settings according to their preferences. This will allow players to explore some parts of the Avalon map from above in the Black Ops 6.

However, the map is not rendered properly, and users may encounter several blurry texture elements. A Reddit user, u/Dull-Caterpillar3153, shared a leaked image describing all the POI on this Avalon map in Warzone. According to them, several classic Black Ops map areas, such as the Firing Range, Hacienda, and WMD, might appear in this rumored map.
However, it remains uncertain when Activision will include the Avalon map in Warzone. In a recent CoD update, the developers included the Area 99 map as Resurgence. Additionally, as confirmed by the communique from Activision, Verdansk will also return to Warzone in Spring 2025.

Hence, there is a possibility that players could witness the Avalon map after the Verdansk return in 2025. In that case, the Avalon map might become the largest map in Warzone. That said, players need to cool their heels and wait for the official confirmation. Until then, they can look forward to Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 1, which starts on November 14, 2024.
