Circana, the popular US-based Player Engagement Tracker highlighted the success of the Black Ops 6 launch week. Call of Duty HQ was the most popular title from a list of 15 games engaging Xbox and PS5 players.

The game amassed 58% of the active Xbox Series players and 37% of active PS5 players, thereby, ranking number one on both of the charts. Second to Call of Duty on both platforms was Fortnite.

The game finished third on the Steam U.S. char, below Monster Hunter: Wilds (Rank 2) and Counter-Strike 2 (Rank 1). The spike in active players accessing the Call of Duty HQ corresponds with the Black Ops 6 launch week. This adds up since the title has had the biggest launch weekend in COD franchise history according to the official BO6 X handle.

During the Black Ops 6 launch weekend starting from Friday, October 25, it broke the franchise record for the most active players, hours played, and matches finished.
