Call of Duty Black Ops 6 leaks have been surfacing on the internet for a while now. Due to Activision uploading the game's alpha build on the PSN database, several players got access to an early version of the Black Ops 6, and now we have more gameplay footage ahead of Call of Duty Next. In those gameplay footages, we can see the much-awaited Omnimovement gameplay at its full potential. Activision had previously claimed that the game would see the biggest movement changes in Call of Duty history, and it certainly seems true after seeing the videos.
Read on the learn more about the leaked Omnimovement gameplay in Black Ops 6.
What to expect from Omnimovement in Black Ops 6?
According to the official description of the Omnimovement, players will be able to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction. In the leaked gameplay footage, players have demonstrated how the movement would actually work in the game. Popular Call of Duty leaker @ForwardLeaks has shared a clip on his profile, where we can see the player moving fluidly in all directions.
In another leaked video by CoD leaker @betterthanalaix, we've seen that Black Ops 6 will also feature the fan-favorite slide cancel mechanism in the game. Now the question arises: Wouldn't the game become faster with the Omnimovement and the slide cancel together?
To answer this question, Call of Duty has stated in the official description:
"With Omnimovement – and core player movement in general – it’s not just about making the player move faster, or tweaking how long it takes before you can slide cancel. This is a holistic approach to redefine what Black Ops 6 movement really means."
Hence, it can be expected that Activision's goal is not to make movement faster in Black Ops 6. Previously we've seen players using the unlimited tac-sprint or the slide cancel mechanism to navigate faster in the game. However, Black Ops 6 devs want to try a different approach where fluidity will be given the top priority. This eventually opens up several possibilities for players to find new ways to deal with enemies in the game.
Be it multiplayer or Warzone, finding innovative ideas to outmaneuver the opponent players has always brought joy to the Call of Duty community. Will Black Ops 6's Omnimovement revolutionize the Call of Duty franchise? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section.
