Treyarch's Black Ops 6 might reintroduce a piece of special utility equipment from the era of Advanced Warfare. The recent reveal trailer, which is already the most-viewed Call of Duty trailer, has seemingly confirmed the return of a popular tool used by players back in Advanced Warfare's Campaign as well as Multiplayer modes.

This article will mention the key details on the returning utility equipment possibly making a return with CoD Black Ops 6 this year.

Note: Players are advised to take early speculations with a grain of salt unless there's an official confirmation from developers.

Iconic Grappling Hook might be coming back in Black Ops 6, according to reveal trailer

It almost looks certain now after witnessing the Grappling Hook in the Black Ops 6 reveal trailer. For those unaware, there's a brief shot at the trailer's 1:14 mark, where the equipment can be clearly seen in the hands of a character from the Campaign.

As of now, it's not confirmed whether the Grappling Hook will be limited to the Campaign or appear in the Multiplayer and Zombies modes. But the fact that it's been indirectly teased by the developers in the reveal trailer implies that players will be able to make good use of it eventually.

Back in 2014, Advanced Warfare from Sledgehammer Games initially introduced the Grappling Hook in its Campaign missions namely Utopia, Throttle, and Sentinel. The utility equipment was also available in the Multiplayer experience through the Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning DLCs under the Grapple playlist.

Moreover, the Grappling Hook was also seen in 2016's Infinite Warfare by Infinity Ward. However, it was restricted to the single-player mode only.

Fans are excited to know when the Black Ops 6 developers will provide an official word on the returning utility equipment's availability in the game.
