It appears there was an exclusive Black Ops 6 Zombies interview held after the Direct event for the game during Xbox Showcase, reflecting on the Zombies mode in detail. This article will mention key details on new information unleashed regarding Black Ops 6 Zombies in the recent interview.

Black Ops 6 Zombies to be the "best version" of the fan-favorite mode

In his latest video, renowned content creator and YouTuber MrDalekJD informed his viewers about newly discovered intel on Black Ops 6 Zombies. He revealed that Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Kevin Drew, was part of a top-secret session that wasn't made public, following the conclusion of BO6 Direct on June 9, 2024.

During the interaction, Kevin Drew discussed numerous things regarding the returning round-based Zombies in BO6. According to him, his team has made the "best version" of Zombies ever in the series by including content that players will enjoy. Not to mention that the introduction of Omnimovement will also play a big role in making it happen.

Here's what the Associate Director said while hyping up the comeback of round-based Zombies and why its iteration in Black Ops 6 will be the best one yet:

"We set out to make the best version of it. I think the entire team's very passionate about the mode and we're bringing things back from the past like GobbleGums among other things. I think we're going to really make something special here."

Kevin also revealed that the Zombies mode was originally intended to be an easter egg. However, it eventually grew over the years and attracted players in large numbers. He said:

"It's a mode that actually started as an easter egg back in World at War and it has grown over the years."

Black Ops 6 Zombies difficulty settings teased for players who only "survive for two minutes"

Interestingly, Kevin Drew also ended up teasing a new option in BO6 Zombies. He mentioned that many players want to enjoy CoD Zombies but not all of them can handle its challenging environment.

He intends to see more people jumping into the iconic mode and will try to adjust the experience accordingly. Kevin stated:

"I want to bring Zombies to more people. So approachability has been a key part for me to put in the game. (For) a lot of people, it's a very challenging mode and when people try it for the first time they might survive for two minutes and it's like once you get in there and you experience the higher rounds, it's so much fun. So we want to just make sure that more people can do that."

While Kevin didn't exactly reveal that Black Ops 6 Zombies will include an option of changing difficulty settings, it looks to be a possibility, going by his explanation, to make the experience more fun and approachable for new players.
