New leaks have emerged that suggest Call of Duty 2026 will feature wall running, Omnimovement, and remastered Modern Warfare 3 (2011) maps. As per a report by @TheGhostOfHope on X — a well-reputed Call of Duty leaker — the 2026 game is being developed by Infinity Ward, the studio behind games like the rebooted MW (2019) and Modern Warfare 2 (2022). However, they haven't disclosed the source of these details.

Call of Duty 2026: Everything we know so far

A report by @TheGhostOfHope suggests that Call of Duty 2026 is being developed by Infinity Ward and is set for release in the latter half of 2026. It is apparently another Modern Warfare game, possibly a direct sequel to the MW3 released last year in 2023.

One of the most interesting highlights of this report is that the game will feature Omnimovement and wall running, which will be making their way to the shooter from Call of Duty 2025. Hence, players can expect the game to feature futuristic themes.

On top of that, the report also suggests that Call of Duty 2026 will bring maps to the table from the original Modern Warfare 3 (2011). Although the leaker has not mentioned the names of these maps, they do state that a majority of these will be getting the remastered treatment.

Fans saw similar moves from Call of Duty with MW3 (2023), where they brought a plethora of MW2 (2009) maps to the game by remastering them.

That said, do note that this is not officially confirmed by Call of Duty and the leaker themselves have stated that it is too early to say for certain. The direction in which Infinity Ward's next title is headed might change by the time it is ready for release.

That covers everything that you need to know about the Call of Duty 2026 leaks.
