The Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone tournaments have been added on top of the existing tournaments for Counter-Strike 2, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and more.

Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone make it to the Esports World Cup 2024

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone were added to the Esports World Cup as some of the final game inclusions.

Warzone will have 21 teams competing for a share of a $1 million prize pool. Meanwhile, MW3 will have 16 teams battling against one another for a cut of a $1.8 million prize pool.

The tournaments will be held far apart from each other in time despite being from the same franchise.

The Esports World Cup also has a Club Championship category, where teams stand a chance to win a $7 million prize. To be eligible, it is necessary for a participant to win at least one tournament in any of the involved games.

The Esports World Cup commences on July 3, 2024, and goes on until August 25, 2024. The event will be organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
