Call of Duty Next will reveal Black Ops 6 round-based Zombies gameplay

Black Ops 6 Zombies will bring the round-based experience to the franchise after nearly four years since it was last seen in Black Ops Cold War. While Treyarch is preparing for the massive launch, there's been no actual Zombies gameplay shared so far. However, next month's Call of Duty Next is going to provide the first look from BO6 Zombies gameplay officially.

Black Ops 6 Zombies gameplay to be showcased at Call of Duty Next on August 30

During an episode of the Call of Duty Podcast, it was revealed by Senior Director of Studio Communications Stephanie Snowden that fans will get to see the official gameplay from Black Ops 6 round-based Zombies during the CoD Next event which is set to take place on August 30, 2024. Here's exactly what she said:

"We're going to have Zombies at (Call of Duty) Next, so you're going to see people playing Zombies live."

In short, BO6 Zombies gameplay will be streamed live during the CoD Next, focusing on the two round-based Zombies maps. The game will feature two major locations based on the style of play. The first map is called Liberty Falls and it will mostly see players choosing their favorite Operator to take on the undead and finish objectives.

On the other hand, the second map of Terminus Island will feature a Crew system consisting of four major characters. Alongside returning faces like Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, and Mackenzie Carver, the game will introduce a new individual named Maya Aguinaldo whose true motives are yet to be disclosed.

Black Ops 6 Zombies rumored to have an early access period

While it's not yet confirmed by Activision, various unspecified rumors have suggested that players who pre-order BO6 will get to enjoy the round-based Zombies experience during an early access as a pre-order bonus ahead of the main launch on October 25, 2024.
