Call of Duty's upcoming UI update will remove the needless scrolling from COD HQ

According to Activision's official blog post, Call of Duty will launch a brand new UI for COD HQ ahead of the Black Ops 6 launch. While the date is yet to be revealed, we can expect the update to arrive around mid-October. Furthermore, there will be a transition period, where Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 will be the featured titles before Black Ops 6.

However, things won't be the same after the Black Ops 6 release. The upcoming UI will feature a "landing zone," where the most recent annual title and Warzone will be present for ease of access. As for the other Call of Duty games, players will be able to access them in the games library or the "last played" section.

Call of Duty has also announced that the landing zone will feature a clean page, where players won't need to scroll endlessly. Since the last big UI changes in the COD HQ, the community has always complained about the needless scrolling to access games.

Furthermore, some fans have also pointed out that the Call of Duty UI looked more like a mobile game UI and had lost its charm. While Activision changed that with the release of Modern Warfare 3, the scrolling part is still present. However, now we can expect a cleaner UI to access the latest Call of Duty games for players to explore.
