Three cel-shaded maps are set to arrive in Modern Warfare 3 Season 5, as confirmed by Stephanie Snowden, Call of Duty's Senior Director of Studio Communications. In the first episode of the Call of Duty podcast, Snowden talked about three revamped maps that feature a cel-shaded art style. These maps are called Toonoxide, Celship, and Ink House.
With Season 4 wrapping up in a few days, Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 is set to arrive in July 24, 2024. Call of Duty recently teased one of the main collaborations in the upcoming season: the CoD x WWE crossover.

Cel-shaded maps are coming to Modern Warfare 3 Season 5
Stephanie Snowden revealed that three cel-shaded maps are coming to Modern Warfare 3 Season 5. The information was revealed on July 15, 2024, during the first episode of the Call of Duty podcast.

These maps are said to be revamped versions of existing maps and are called Toonoxide (Rust), Celship (Shipment), and Ink House (Stash House).
According to Snowden, the team introduced these maps to the game in response to the positive reaction towards funky art styles, as seen in the recent weekly events and weapons.
"I think we've seen the community kind of like rally around some of these really funky designs that have been out, like I was stunned to see the response to Get High...," Snowden said.
Earlier this year, Call of Duty introduced a cel-shaded Operator skin called Cataclysm Pack, which fans loved. Aside from the skin, there have been multiple Tracer packs that deviate from the military simulation style that Call of Duty is known for.
