Activision's upcoming FPS premium CoD Black Ops 6 has become the most pre-ordered game on the PlayStation Store. Within days of its full reveal under the Black Ops 6 Direct as part of the Xbox Showcase event, the new installment has attracted gaming fans in large numbers. As a result, it's currently sitting on the top spot of pre-ordered titles for both PS5 and PS4 consoles.

Treyarch is bringing tons of revolutionary changes to the Call of Duty franchise with BO6. It will be the first game in the series to enable an Omnidirectional movement for players alongside other returning features.

CoD Black Ops 6 Vault Edition, priced at $100, is #1 on PlayStation Store's Pre-orders list

Black Ops 6 had a deep-dive session during the Xbox Showcase on Sunday, June 9. Immediately after the pre-order page for the game went live, the title began attracting lots of players who were excited about this year's Call of Duty.

As one can see in the image above, taken from PlayStation Store's Pre-orders page, Black Ops 6 is currently the most pre-ordered game compared to any other popular title. What's even more interesting to note is that the game's most exclusive edition, the Vault Edition which is priced at $99.99, has succeeded in attracting consumers despite a premium cost.

It speaks volumes of BO6's escalating hype among the fans. It looks like most of the players are confident of it being an amazing CoD entry in terms of having an action-packed Campaign experience with solid Multiplayer and Zombies modes.

Just recently, the reveal trailer for Black Ops 6 became the most-viewed Call of Duty trailer of all time on YouTube. Since its premiere on June 9, the video has amassed almost 50 million views in just three days on CoD's official channel. Compared to past titles, this is a huge milestone set by the upcoming game months ahead of a global debut.

BO6 is set for a worldwide release on October 25.
