The MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update has enriched the titles, but unfortunately, some Xbox users are experiencing significant performance issues. Many have taken to Reddit to discuss these problems. Fortunately, the developers have already acknowledged the issue and informed the Xbox playerbase via X that they are currently investigating it.

Activision has acknowledged the degraded performance on Xbox

After receiving numerous reports and a lot of player feedback, Activision has acknowledged the performance issues on Xbox. They have updated their official Trello board and posted the following on X:

"We're investigating reports of degraded performance on Xbox platforms following the Season 4 Reloaded update."

Many Xbox users are experiencing severe performance issues on both current and previous generation consoles, particularly with the Xbox Series X/S, following the release of the MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update.

Users report constant lag and choppy gameplay, with packet loss ranging from 5% to 20% in nearly every game, ruining the gameplay experience. Packet loss occurs due to connection issues between the user's system and the game’s server, leading to lag, rubberbanding, ping spikes, and other issues detrimental to online gaming.

As a result, many users find the game completely unplayable, even with low ping (35-50 ms). The packet loss creates an experience similar to playing with a 200+ ms ping, causing shots to miss and the gameplay to be choppy.
