CoD devs acknowledge new glitch preventing weapon camos from unlocking in MW3's G3T_H1GH3R Mode

The G3T_H1GH3R mode in MW3 offers three unique weapon camos that can be unlocked by completing certain criteria—Gridlocked camo, Shifting Grid animated camo, and Synth Bust animated camo. However, a recent glitch is preventing these camos from being unlocked even when the criteria are met.

Players began reporting the issue so Activision would take notice, and it worked. The bug has now been acknowledged by the developers; they are investigating the matter.

The developers have added the glitch to their official Trello board. The following update was posted on the official Call of Duty Updates X page:

"We're investigating an issue preventing Weapon Camos from being unlocked in the G3T_H1GH3R mode."

Players can be assured that a fix is coming very soon. The Trello board now shows that the glitch has a "Fix Scheduled," suggesting that the developers have identified the problem and scheduled a fix. The community will soon be able to grind for the three free weapon camos available in the G3T_H1GH3R mode.

Weapon camos in MW3's G3T_H1GH3R mode: Unlocking criteria

The G3T_H1GH3R mode is a revamped version of the popular parkour mode, G3T_HIGH. Players are enjoying its parlor-style gameplay, which involves reaching the maximum height on the map while overcoming various obstacles before the timer runs out.

In the Call of Duty MW3 G3T_H1GH3R mode, you can obtain three weapon camos, two of which are animated. Each has specific unlock criteria, to fulfill which you have to play the mode.

The criteria for acquiring the Gridlocked camo is to complete the run. It doesn't matter how long you take. As long as you complete the run before time runs out, you will receive this camo.

For the Shifting Grid animated camo, you need to complete the run in under 10 minutes. The final camo, the Synth Bust animated camo, is the hardest to obtain as you need to collect 12 hidden coins throughout the map, all in one go.

Currently, even if you meet all the criteria, you won't be able to unlock them due to the bug. Additionally, there is no information on whether completing the requirements during the bugged period will automatically unlock the camos once the fix arrives.

For now, you can practice the challenges to build your muscle memory. Once the fix is implemented, you can quickly complete them and unlock all three camos.
