In an official X post from @CODUpdates, on November 19, 2024, the developer announced the removal of Rebirth Island just a few hours after its addition. However, they ensured that players could access other maps and modes from the title.

Unfortunately, many players who managed to jump into the said map reported their horrible experiences. They faced lag, low audio, weapon freezing, and many other glitches that rendered the gameplay almost unplayable. Fortunately, the developers noticed these issues and attempted to resolve them.

This somehow disappointed many Call of Duty players who wanted to dive back into their fan-favorite map and enjoy the latest omnimovement mechanism.
